Intro
Achter het onderwijs staat een team dienstverleners dat helpt bij het adviseren, ondersteunen en begeleiden van financiële vraagstukken. Samenwerken doen we dan ook over de grenzen heen. Samen met de controller, de HR-adviseur en de accounthouder O&O (Onderwijs & Onderzoek) vorm je als adviseur het accountteam dat een academie/dienst ondersteunt.

Jij voert de regie op de planning en realisatie van de documenten uit de P&C-cyclus voor de academies/diensten waarvoor je primair werkzaam bent. Het adviseren en ondersteunen in financiële vraagstukken aan management en budgethouders zijn activiteiten die jou energie geven. Periodiek voer je voortgangsgesprekken met management over de (financiële) realisatie t.o.v. het budget. Hierbij bewaak je continue de kwaliteit van de financiële administratie (juistheid, tijdigheid en volledigheid). Jouw profiel
Je bent een ideale kandidaat als je beschikt over een relevant HBO diploma. Bij voorkeur heb je ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie. Je beschikt over uitgebreide kennis van automatiseringssystemen (Exact, Office, PowerPoint, etc.), waarbij kennis van Power-BI als een pré wordt gezien. Daarnaast beschik je over goede communicatieve (advies)vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.

Team Control en Financieel advies bestaat uit controllers en financieel adviseurs. Dit team heeft passie voor het vak en er zijn veel mogelijkheden om jezelf door te ontwikkelen. Er heerst een plezierige en open werksfeer waarin medewerkers elkaar waarderen en denken in oplossingen vanzelfsprekend is. En dat alles in een professionele, maar zeker ook ontspannen sfeer. The Department of Cell Biology-Inspired Tissue Engineering (c-BITE) at MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine at Maastricht University in the Netherlands invites applications for a postdoctoral position to join Dr. Silvia Bolognin’s lab. A postdoctoral position is available to use human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived midbrain organoids (MOs) in the context of schizophrenia. The project aims to validate the use of MOs as a predictive in vitro model to evaluate patient-specific responses to available and new antipsychotics. Working within a collaborative team of experts in mental health disorders at the Mental Health and Neuroscience Research Institute and tissue engineering, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of a translational platform for personalized schizophrenia treatment. This will involve advanced techniques in iPSC culture and differentiation, organoid characterization (e.g., dopamine signaling, cellular composition), and drug testing.

- PhD in neuroscience, mental health diseases, stem cell technologies, or a related field.
- Strong background in cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Proven experience with microscopy and other relevant characterization techniques.

Requirements
You have a master’s degree in/or close to one of the above-mentioned fields. Please note that as an early-career position without a research component, this position is not considered suitable for candidates who have a PhD or are currently working on a PhD thesis.

The Department of Advanced Computing Systems at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Maastricht University is looking for a new colleague to support our cutting-edge research in robotic systems. As a robotic systems engineer, you will be strengthening our team that is creating next generation artificial intelligence, software, and hardware for various robotic systems. This research spans areas such as smart industrial robots, autonomous drones, and wearable robotics. We apply this research to address various urgent societal needs. We are currently hiring for new developments which focus on agricultural applications. For this purpose, we are setting up new facilities at Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo to run complementary to our new R&D greenhouse.
You will also contribute to our top-rated education. This includes two bachelor’s programmes and two master’s programmes in the fields of AI and Data Science. You will be sharing our passion in designing and building robotic systems with our highly motivated students and helping them to become professional researchers and developers.
What are you going to do?
As a Robotics Systems Engineer you will support various research projects by designing, developing, implementing, modifying and operating professional robotic systems. You will also be involved in setting up and maintaining our new robotics laboratory facilities in Venlo.
In your role, you will become part of our team that focusses on enabling next generation AI-powered robotics systems. This team operates at the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo and in Maastricht.
You will also support our teaching activities: During practical assignments you will help teach students to design, manufacture, and program robotic systems. You will also set up and maintain state-of-the-art robotic systems such as drones and industrial robots for education.

Faculty of Science and Engineering
At the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE), we focus on themes such as circularity and sustainability, future farming, digitisation and (scientific) instrument development. FSE's leading projects, like the Einstein Telescope Pathfinder, are sure to grab anyone's attention. Maastricht, Sittard-Geleen, Heerlen, and Venlo, the home of four creative Brightlands campuses, are bustling with 30,000 entrepreneurs, researchers, and students working diligently to solve global challenges. The Faculty of Science and Engineering is active on all four Brightlands campuses, and this is where our impact reaches its peak. To give you an idea of what is happening at each campus: Sittard-Geleen is home to the largest chemical site in the Euregion, while Venlo is a large hub for agri-food innovation. Maastricht is the site of the Health Campus, and Heerlen is the place to be for Smart Services.
Department of Advanced Computing Sciences
The Department of Advanced Computing Sciences is Maastricht University’s largest and oldest department broadly covering the fields of artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, mathematics and robotics. Over 100 researchers work and study in the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences, whose roots trace back to 1987.
